5. Final Check

What paint do you use in bathrooms?

How do you deal with black mould before painting?

Mould is treated with a fungicidal solution and adequate dwell time is allowed before cleaning off. Painting over untreated mould will result in it returning through the new coat within months. Where mould is severe, your decorator will also advise on extraction improvements.

How long should I wait before using the shower after painting?

We advise waiting at least 48 to 72 hours before using the shower. Bathroom paint takes longer to cure fully than standard emulsion. Your decorator confirms the drying time at the end of the job based on conditions.
